Devil Stamp, Anal Enthusiast, White Pride Worldwide (2017)

Installation by Allan Cruz at Kunsthal Ulys, DK

Group show at Kunsthal Ulys, DK

As part of The Funen Art academy's third year exhibition 2017, this installation presents three experimental written pieces exploring unconventional formats for story telling.

The three stories form a series of “first try” self-therapeutic actions, with the purpose of stepping out of personal comfort zones and sharing recent and forgotten atypical life experiences.

Issues explored related to libertarianism, xenophobia, mental disorders, violence and the exploration of sexual diversity.

Levitation is an investigative piece about current social media trends. This theme was inspired by "Participant Observation", a method involved in Cultural Anthropology. The animation was created using pictures collected on Tinder for a year in different places such as Denmark, Germany, Canada and Costa Rica. Friends of diverse gender from different locations contributed to the project.
